4. Open/break the ampoule according to the instructions in the manual.
5. Add the sample to the reagent fluid in the ampoule.
6. If applicable, close the ampoule and mix gently by tilting or shaking gently.
7. Wait the indicated time (usually a few minutes) and compare the color with the color chart.

• For each new sample, use a new test ampoule.
• If the color is unclear, unusual, or unknown: be safe and do not use the product.
